To ensure a millimetre-perfect fit, NC Doors digitally 'profiles' (measures) each door frame onsite, or takes their dimensions from CAD drawings.

The data is programmed and downloaded into one of our two 5-axis routing machines which precisely size the handmade door panel and cuts out hinges, handles, lock and other hardware in minutes – far quicker and more accurately than can be done by hand by a carpenter working onsite. Installation is so easy our doors can be hung by non-trade workers or a home renovator.

Brothers Barry, David and Ian Drewitt began installing doors in the 1980s, but saw an opportunity to revolutionise custom door design, production and installation by investing in computer-assisted technology to profile (measure) and manufacture non-standard doors to save their clients time and money.
